The 1800Flowers website looks like the typical online flower delivery store. Search by occasion, type of flowers, specials, price and other user-friendly search options. And we must admit, the selection of flowers and plants to choose from is overwhelming. So many beautiful arrangements to choose from!
We had lots of fun browsing the Martha Stewart boutique. The arrangements and vases, all inspired by Martha, were beautiful and reasonably priced. There were even flower care tips for us to reference, with advice on how to make our flowers look beautiful and last longer.
Unlike many of the other online flower stores we visited, 1800Flowers only had a few bouquets that had "upgrade" options and we were only able to find one that didn't explain whether the image shown was of the basic model or of the upgraded version. For the most part it seems that this website takes a "what you see is what you get" approach.
Make sure you check out the Fresh Rewards savings club before placing your order. When you join the club you get one point for every dollar spent. For every 200 points you collect you get $20 in savings. And you also might want to check out 1800Flowers' credit program. If you send flowers frequently you'll be able to keep those purchases separate from your other credit card purchases and it'll save you the hassle of entering your credit card information at checkout.

1800Flowers Customer Service:
1800Flowers offers customer service via phone and email. We received a response to our email inquiry within two hours of sending it. That, my friends, was impressive. Phone support was also above par with barely any hold time at all and knowledgeable and friendly representatives waiting to answer our questions (which they did beautifully).
Upside:
Beautiful arrangements, credit accounts available, great customer service.
Downside:
Prices a bit higher than most of the competition.
